Lavish Polish

Guys, Grayson is sick! :( This is only the second time in his 11 months that he's been sick so I guess I've been pretty lucky haha.
Anyways, today I have Lavish Polish's 4th of July trio plus an extra recently released polish to show you! I've been loving any and all patriotic themed polishes lately haha.

Independence Day
Ugh words cannot explain how much I love this one! It's so squishy and amazing and I want to hug my fingers. I need a hand hug guys. Swatch shows 3 coats with topcoat.
Ooo I need to mattify this too!

Boom Fireworks
This glitter topper! It's so adorable! It's got blue and red hexes, tons of micro glitters, and teeny tiny white stars that I just want to collect and add to my collection of adorable tiny things. Swatch shows 1 coat plus placement over Smoky Mtn Lacquers Halona.
See, microglitters, I'm not crazy!
Haha this one is so patriotic, I can't believe I love this!

Red, White & Blue
The squish level on this one is off the jelly charts, ugh my heart. At first I wasn't sure if I would like this one but I loved it, wore it for a whole day! Swatch shows 4 thin coats with topcoat.
SQUISH
Mm those holo glitters though!

Summer Breeze
This! I'm all about this one!! It reminds me of fruity pebbles and I want to eat it. This one is a thermal and in this swatch is in it's warm state. For the life of me I couldn't capture the transition because it is subtler but it does transition to a pale yellow when cold and a nude when warm. Swatch shows 3 thin coats with topcoat.
That glitter mix is just...I'm drooling right now, sorry.

DUH Nail Polish

I've recently discovered an intense love for a subtle glitter polish. Wanna see what I mean? Well check out these polishes (Life's a Beach collection) from Duh Nail Polish and you'll see what I mean.

She Sells Seashells

Oh my. Oh my, oh my, oh my! This one is everything I thought it would be and more! It's a light pink crelly with blue, purple and coral glitters. Plus an amazing shimmer! Swatch shows 3 thin coats plus topcoat.
I just want to hug this one, it's so girly and delicate.
AHHH I'm dying at this glitter combo. My heart!

Toes In The Sand
This one is seriously my favorite of the three. I don't know why but I love it with all my heart. Swatch shows 3 thin coats.
JUST LOOK AT THIS. It's perfect! It's polish perfection!
Ugh I could just live in that macro forever, k bye.

Whispering Waves
Oh this blue. It's stolen my heart (sorry She Sells Seashells) but I mean really can you blame me. Swatch shows 4 thin coats, but it was pretty good at 3.
For real though, I'm obsessed with all of Danyls glitter combinations. They're stunning!

The Quick and Dirty: uhhh so yeah. You need all three of these and you need them now. Like you needed them yesterday. Go get them. No formula issues to report. So go buy them.

Reverie Summer 2014 collection

Recently Grayson has started cruising and now I'm super scared guys. He's going to be walking soon. My baby is going to be walking! Ugh. Anyways, today I have the summer collection from Reverie Nail Lacquer. I'm going to preface this review with this: I'm going to be buying this whole collection in full size. Like on launch day. I'm setting my alarm so I don't forget. Reverie is formerly known as Two Gypsies Nail Lacquer, you've seen them featured on my blog before. On to the polish!
Orchid
This polish is so pretty! It's a light lilac holo and it's breath taking. Swatch shows 3 coats with topcoat but it was pretty much good at two coats.
This color is like a chameleon, it looked pretty light on my light box but very purple in the sun. Regardless, love!
I know this photo is blurry, but look! Holo!

Mermaid Scales
Waaah, I wish I could convey the amazingness that is this polish to you! It is just GLOWING. It's got blue/teal micro glitters along with what looks to me like some irridescent hex in there that is just plain amazing. Swatch shows 3 coats with topcoat.
Do you see what I'm saying?! Glowing!

Agave
Ahhh. This one is so light and delicate. It's a breath of fresh air. This is a light blue base with gold micro flakies. I love it! Swatch shows 2 coats with topcoat.
This one is so unique! Those flakies!

Seascape
Hello there gorgeous! Where have you been all my life! Seascape is an amazing nude crelly with blue and yellow glitters. Plus an amazing golden shimmer. Swatch shows 2 coats with topcoat.
I'll admit it, I hugged this polish.

Andromeda
HOLY CRAP.
That's right, I said it, all caps and in bold. I had to. LOOK AT IT. Dead. Such a squishy blue jelly and the glitters are perfection! If you only get one get this one! Swatch shows 3 coats plus topcoat.
Omg this would look amazing matte also!
Le sigh.

Summer Wine
I LIED. This one, get this one! My eyeballs can't handle this much gorgeousness. This must be what love is like. A perfect red jelly with irridescent and red, orange and pink glitters?!? Really! Swatch shows 3 thin coats with topcoat.
Be still my beating heart, I just can't even.

The Quick and Dirty: you need these all. Formula was perfection and just a dream on them all, no issues needed to be reported!

This collection launches tomorrow so really, don't miss any of these. Make sure you follow them on Instagram for all the latest updates (@reverienaillacquer).

Stuck On Love Nail Shields

I'm sure you all have noticed by now that in most of my Love, Angeline swatches I've had accent nails. All of those accent nails were made super easy by Love, Angeline's Stuck On Love Nail Shields!
Here's a recap of all the accent nails I've done.
From top to bottom, left to right I've used: stars, X, cheetah, and X again.
Top to bottom, L-R: tribal arrows, Aztec, zebra, and giraffe
Top to bottom, L-R: arrowhead, hearts, clouds, and triple lines.

You can also use the left over pieces as decals in your nail art.
Here I chose to use the pieces left over from the butterfly nail shield to add cute butterflies to my mani. It's so much easier and crisper than stamping!
This is how I use the nail shields:
1. Apply to DRY nail polish
2. Using a makeup sponge with polish on it, dab it over the nail shield, much like you would with a gradient
3. Take off nail shield, topcoat and enjoy!

It's been my experience that using a sponge to apply the polish instead of using the brush gives you a much more even and crisp looking result.

The quick and dirty: I love all of the designs on Natosha's nail shields, they're adorable! They are very easy to use and make nail art a snap even if you're not artsy. If you have shorter nails you can cut the shield in half to get double the uses!
Make sure you give Natosha a follow on Instagram (@loveangelinepolish) and check out her store loveangeline.bigcartel.com to see all the nail shield designs she has available.

The last of The Love Angeline army

If you follow me on Instagram then you know that a while back I got a massive box filled with Love, Angeline polishes and today marks the last post on the contents of that wonderful box. The last collection I have to share is the Carebear collection! This is a collection of amazingly adorable glitter toppers!
Take That Cheer and Shove It!
This one is so girly, it's got pink, silver, black, and gray hex in it! The silver is all holo and yummy. Swatch shows 1 coat over OPI I Theodora You. I also used the X Stuck on Love Nail Shields for my double accent nail.
Look at that silver holo hex, stealing the show over there. Show off.

Naive Dreamer
I love blue and I love glitter toppers so...I love this so hard. Blue, black, gray, and silver glitter in this one. Swatch shows 1 coat over China Glaze At Vase Value. I also used the cloud Stuck On Love Nail Shield.
Again, these color combos are perfect. So delicate and cute.

Sunny Side Down
The name on this one makes me giggle every time haha. I had a brilliant idea to use the Giraffe nail shield for this one but then I went and added glitter over it and killed the look. Hind sight is 20/20 right. Anyways, swatch shows 1 coat over FAT Lacquers Ice Cold Brewsky.
Yellow circles! Be still my heart.

Nobody Likes A Klutz
I'm a serious klutz and can vouch for the name of this polish, it's true haha. In college I tripped UP the same set of steps twice. And it wasn't even stairs, it was like two steps. Anyways. Swatch shows 1 coat over China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener.
I'm just realizing that there's dots in most of these polishes. That makes my heart so happy!

No Need To Be Greedy
Okay, this is my favorite! I used one coat over China Glaze In A Lily Bit. Such a perfect combo!
No dots in this one but I'm totally okay with that.

The Quick and Dirty: this set of 5 glitter toppers is a must have in my opinion. They're versatile and glitter payoff is excellent. I think they're all perfect for doing glitter gradients with which I love.

I used Love, Angeline's Stuck On Love Nail Shields for all of my accent nails and I love them! They make it easy to spice up an otherwise simple mani. I'll have a full review on them up soon.
