Royal Polish

I have 5 polishes from the Happily Ever After collection from a newish (new to me at least) indie brand called Royal Polish.

The first one is Shining Armor, a yummy black jelly with silver hex in various sizes.
This is two super easy coats with topcoat. It was so buttery smooth and easy to work with. The combination is so subtle and classy, I love it.
Mm, jelly squishyness.
The depth in iust two coats is so gorgeous.

This is Ball Gown, the most perfect steely blue with pink shimmer.
This was 3 coats with topcoat.
This seriously reminds me of Cinderellas gown in polish form, it's gorgeous.
The pink shimmer is much more pronounced in person, but it's very pretty!

Crown Jewels is my favorite of the whole collection.
Gold holo glitter, pink holo glitter, and dots. Seriously, no wonder I love it.
One coat over Kleancolor Green Grass. One coat! So much glitter! And so insanely sparkly! I love pink and gold glitters so it's no surprise I love this one too.

Once Upon A Time
This looks like a plain red in pictures but there is so much gold glitter in this, it's very prominent in person.
I don't normally like reds on me, but this one is very wearable, it's a really warm red color.
See there's the gold glitter!

Prince Charming
This was one coat over OPI Live And Let Die and a gradient with topcoat.
This is so sneaky, I thought it was just blue, white, and gold shreds but there's also blue hex glitter that sparkle like mad!

Which are your favorites? I like Crown Jewels (obv) and surprisingly Once Upon A Time.

Make sure you follow Royal Polish on Instagram (@royalpolish) for updates on when these will be available!

I'm becoming a Legion Lacquer addict...

Someone help me. I think I may have a problem. I was telling someone how my favorite Legion Lacquer polishes are everything they've ever made. Don't judge me, that's an appropriate answer.
Anyways, today I have a few polishes for the lovely ladies Angela and Shay over at Legion Lacquer.
First up is Royals, let me preface this with i have been lemming this polish forever and it did not disappoint.
I am too indecisive so I layered this over a red/pink/purple gradient. Also a lighter pink. This was 2 coats with topcoat.
Holy moly. Look at all that glitter. Pink and gold holo everything. It is glorious, this is what polish dreams are made of.
There's tiny micro bar glitter in this and I LOVE it. I know, my past self would be so shocked.

Next is Truly Tanzanite which is the yummiest blue to ever grace my finger tips.
It's deep blue with flakies and purple shimmer and magic. This is the perfect representation of tanzanite.
This was 2 coats with topcoat. I had to put this one on as soon as I saw it.
And here's a close up of this beauty.

Lastly I have He Loves Me...Not. This is shimmery, glittery gorgeousness in a bottle. Just look.
I layered 2 coats over a purple base. This has a strong pink and unexpected blue shimmer with loads of different shaped glitter. I love the big red holo hearts, they're adorable.
Boom, see I told you they were holo hearts.
Mmm is that blue flakies I see?
I seriously love all 3 of these polishes. Loooove.

All of these polishes are available in Legion Lacquers shop except for He Loves Me...Not which us a part of their valentines dat trio which is available January 1st. Make sure you follow @legionlacquer on Instagram for updates and sales!

Essie's Encrusted Treasures

I know loads of people have been giving Essie flack for their Encrusted Treasures collection, but I'm just going to start this post by saying I LOVE it so hard. I saw a picture of the collection before it was released and instantly fell in love. Then I saw swatches and read reviews and was very wary of it. But Belugaria has been staring at me every single time I go to a drug store or target. It's been daring me to try it. I think part of the reason I wanted to try it was to see for myself, I was intensely curious. So the other day I picked up two of the polishes from the collection.

First up is the most hated polish in the world, Belugaria.
I love the way this looks, I don't know why but I do. I brought it home and swatched it on my thumb and fell in love. I actually did both hands.
This was 2 easy coats. I think that the key to this polish is to do much thicker coats than you normally would. For one nail I went back and dipped the brush in the bottle 2 or 3 times. It was no harder than any other polish.
The texture on this is very gritty and bumpy, much more so than your average textured polish. I don't mind, I love any and all things textured.
You can see the texture more here.
This polish is actually very very sparkly, if you follow me on Instagram (@thejuiceboxlacquer) then you may have seen the video swatch I posted.

The other one I picked up is On A Silvet Platter. I'm not sure if this one was supposed to be textured because I've read that it is and I've heard some people say that it isn't.
This was 3 coats with topcoat, I added topcoat because if it was supposed to be textured it really wasn't, just a little gritty from all the glitter. This is a clear base with dense golden shimmer and blue holo hex in many sizes. This feels like an indie to me, I could go to the juice box factory and make this for myself if I so chose.
I'm really undecided on whether I like this one as much as I'd hoped, it's very sparkly.
I think that I do like this one, and will probably go and pick up the rest of the collection because most of what I've read about these formula wise I found to be inaccurate.

What are your thoughts? Do you love it? Or do you hate them?

Who are you calling FAT?

FAT Lacquers, that's who I'm calling fat. OR maybe phat. What's that? Nobody uses that word anymore?...

The very first thing I have to address is this magical work of art that I have created.
It's a hamburger! On my nail!

The first polish I have to show you is Penelope (LE).
It is the prettiest, girliest mix of glitter ever! Light pink dots, light blue squares, holo black dots, and holo silver dots. DOTS. HOLO.
This is 2 coats with some glitter placement of the bigger dots.
Okay, on to The Dollar Menu.
This is 30 Oz Sweet Tea, two coats with topcoat.
Holy moly, this makes me want tea so bad. I might have accidentally drank the entire pitcher in the fridge (sorry Thomas) while I was painting this. And I hate tea.
It is so much more shimmery than these photos show, I saw some green, red, and gold in there.

This is Two All Beef Patties over OPI In The Cable Car-Pool Lane.
This is my FAVORITE combo ever! I love it over this color! Two All Beef Patties is burger in glitter form, it has big red squares, green hex, yellow hex, along with brown squares and darker brown hex. It took me a little bit to find the perfect undies for this one but man it was worth it.
So much glitter! This was 1 coat.

Soft Serve.
The most perfect white. Now, I couldn't get them to play nice, but it has some shimmer to it, light blue and purple if I am seeing things correctly. This is 2 coats over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. Because I'm lazy, and I also wanted to see if it would make the shimmer stand out more.

Now for the last, and in my opinion, best polish.
1 coat of Daddy Chicken Patty over OPI Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window. I LOVE THIS. So much. No words.
Here is a better shot of the glitter. I love the green dots, they remind me of pickles.

Which is your favorite of the Dollar Menu collection?! Aren't they all phat. Okay, I'm done now.

These will all be available for pre-order on 11/29, make sure you follow @fatlacquers on Instagram for updates and availability!
