Duh Nail Polish No Resolutions

Today I have one of the most awesome trios from Duh Nail Polish to show you! All three polishes are so amazing! There's a matte, a full coverage glitter, and a crelly.

Got My High Heels On
Got My High Heels On (matte)
Got My High Heels On (with topcoat)
How stunning is this red?! It was seriously the most perfect red polish I have ever had on my fingers, it had perfect opacity in two coats but I'm positive it could be a one coater if you do coats thicker than mine. It dries to an amazing matte finish, but with topcoat it brings out a subtle shimmer.

This green! I can't even! It's such a dark, forest green and I'm pretty sure it's completely unique to my collection. It was opaque in two coats but again, it could have been a one coater. There was loads of purple and green flakies in it, it adds depth but it's also subtle which I love.

Lastly is, Ring It In

Well hello gorgeous! This glitter is so stunning, it's got micro hex and iridescent hex and unicorn tears. Oh man. I love it! I wore it for three days straight and didn't want to take it off. It was opaque in three amazing coats plus topcoat.

What do you think of this collection? I love them all! They're available for purchase now so check out the links to Danyl's shop and other social media below.

Laquered Up

Oh man it feels like it's been so long since I've posted last! I know it hasn't actually been that long but it feels like it haha. I mentioned a few posts back I believe that I had some exciting news an the day has finally come to share! My hubby and I are expecting baby juice box v2.0 in July of next year! I'm so excited to be pregnant again but it's definitely taking it's toll, I've been so tired and queasy lately which explains my lack of posting. I just haven't had time for nails and everything else that needs to get done in the day. I'm only about 8 weeks along so I can't wait for the first trimester to be over so I can be back to semi-normal. Anyways, on to the nails! I have five GORGEOUS jelly polishes from Jessica at Laquered Up.

Sugar Plum Fairy

Hello, beautiful! Oh man, this polish. It's a perfect balance between purple and fuchsia plus it has awesome silver flakies! It's a relatively simple combination but it's so stunning on! This took 3 thin coats plus topcoat for opacity.

Berry Flirty

I have a deep seated craving for hot pink polishes and this definitely satisfies that craving. It's squishy and glittery and sparkly. This one has so many different holo glitters, there's silver hex, pink hex, and giant pink holo dots. Love! This one took three coats for opacity. This one did stain my cuticles pink but I have a gel overlay on my nails so I'm unsure if it'll also stain your nails or not. As long as you use a good base coat you shouldn't have any issues, and personally, that color is so worth it.

Again this is another perfectly executed jelly which means I love it! I have a weakness for all things jelly and squishy. There's those awesome silver flakies showing up again, as well as dots in small and large sizes. There was a little bit of fishing for the bigger glitters but that's usually par for the course with bigger glitters. Hardcore lacquer heads know that turning the bottle upside down for a bit before application fixes any fishing issues.

Holy gorgeous green jelly Batman! I'm drooling just looking at these pictures. This green is perfect for Christmas, maybe I'll do a festive mani with it. Anyway, this one was a tad more opaque than the others and you could probably get away with two coats, I did three plus topcoat because I do really thin coats. There's such an interesting mix in this one, there's flakies and gold holo hex and also dark green hex which was a perfect touch to add depth!

Caramel Kisses
Caramel Kisses
I totally spaced and didn't get a nail macro of this one. I was distracted by the sparklies! But fo real how much like caramel does this look? I just wanna drizzle this on everything, why isn't it edible?!? I used three thin coats plus topcoat for this picture. I love the gold glitters in this, especially those teeny weenie holo hex.

Overall, this was such an awesome selection of polishes. Jessica is a master at the glitter jelly (my ultimate weakness!) so obviously I loved all five of these. I feel so incredibly blessed to have been given the chance to try out some more of her polishes! This makes 7 of hers that I have tried and they have all had such a consistent formula, I'm definitely impressed! If you're interested in purchasing any of these I believe that they're all available in her Etsy store which I will link to below. Thanks for reading!

Dashing Housewife Christmas Cheer collection

Finally! It's close enough to Christmas to play Christmas music without people looking at you like you've lost it! Plus this means so many gorgeous Christmas collections to play with. Today I have Dashing Housewife Polish Christmas Cheer collection to show off and I gotta say, it's so unique and refreshing for a holiday collection. This is already available for purchase so I'll post all the links below.

First up is quite possibly my favorite blue polish ever, Silent Night
Silent Night

Okay, for real. I'm dead with this polish! I mean, the teal/blue jelly base to the green-blue-gold flakies? It is everything I could have ever hoped to see in a blue polish. I've already worn this twice apart from swatching it, on both hands lmao. I use two coats here with topcoat.

Initially I wasn't sure that I would like this one but I ended up loving it on, it's definitely a royal color. There's flakies and shimmer and gorgeousness in this one. Plus I only needed two coats for opacity also so there's that.

My macro is totally not color accurate, but the top two swatches are. My camera freaked out when I went to get close to this one haha! But anyways, it's a gorgeous teal crelly with seriously the most unique color combo I have ever seen and it is breathtaking! I loved this one in the bottle and on my nails. It feels perfectly holidayish without screaming HOLIDAYS to me and I just love it, plus theres a bonus silver shimmer running through it. Swatch shows 3 coats plus topcoat.

Frosted Cookie

I may or may not be tempted to try to frost some cookies with this, it just looks so yummy. This is definitely your quintessential holiday polish with a teensy twist. There's a multicolored shimmer in it and to me the glitters aren't your typical green and red shades but I love it! Swatch shows three coats plus topcoat.

Feeling Grinchy

This is another one my camera freaked when I tried to get a bottle macro haha, it's definitely not color accurate, but the others are. The name on this one had me laughing out loud, I literally thought that it reminded me of the grinch before I even saw the name. Plus it glows green in the dark! How perfect! I charged it in the sun for a minute or two to get the strongest glow possible and man is it bright! There wasn't even any fishing for the heart glitters either so I loved it. Swatch shows 3 coats plus topcoat.

Last up is White As Snow

This polish is so delicate and subtly pretty! It's a white crelly with multicolored flakies in it that look like they're glowing! I loved wearing this one, and it does remind me of snow. This one took three coats plus topcoat.

So what did you guys think of this collection? It's so unique for a holiday collection but they still feel like holiday polishes. I definitely think you could wear most of these year round which I love! All of these had the usual perfectly smooth formula I'm used to from Dashing Housewife Polish.

Rain City Lacquer Trio

Today is such a good day, I got some wonderful news! I can't wait to share it with you all. :) I have an awesome trio to show off from Rain City Lacquer! This trio launches on Black Friday and you definitely don't want to miss out on it! It consists of three gorgeous jelly glitter polishes. I'll post all the links down below for you to make sure you stay up to date on all the necessary info!

First up is Happy Holly Days
Happy Holly Days
Happy Holly Days
Well hello there gorgeous polish! This jelly is basically what dreams are made of! It's such a gorgeous shade of red and the glitters complement it perfectly. I used three coats plus topcoat for this swatch.

I had to make it matte, I mean how could I not! It's stunning both ways.

This green is life! How have I lived my life so long without this polish! The jelly base with this combination of glitters is just breathtaking. This was 4 thin coats with topcoat and a teeny bit of fishing for stars but nothing bad or annoying at all. It was a joy to apply.

How lovely does this look matte? It's Christmas perfection!

Last up is Sparkling Cider

This one is a touch more sheer than the other two but I still really enjoy it! If you wanted more opaque coverage you could layer it over a similar base color, but for me the VNL didn't bother me. It's definitely unique to my 1,000+ collection and I like that. I used 4 thin coats plus topcoat.

How cool does this look matte? The flakies almost make it look cloudy and it looks really neat!

So, what do you all think of this trio? I love jellies with glitter so I loved them all!

Duh Nail Polish Down Home Holidays

Are you guys excited for another Duh Nail Polish collection? I know I am! I swatched these in record time after getting them in the mail because I literally couldn't wait to get them on my nails. This collection is kind of a big one for Duh Nail Polish, theres 5 polishes and three of them dry to the single most amazing matte finish I've ever seen, they are glorious! This post will be picture heavy because I wanted to show the matte ones with topcoat also.

My Cup Spilleth
My Cup Spilleth (matte)
Hello beauty! Holy moly this is a damn sexy red and I don't usually say that about reds. This matte finish is killer, and the polish is perfectly opaque in two coats. There's flakies and shimmer and magic in here.
My Cup Spilleth (matte)
Them flakies! I die!
My Cup Spilleth (topcoat)
I'm so in love with this polish with and without topcoat! I can't believe how much it changes with topcoat though, it's one of those polishes that glows from within. I don't even have words.
My Cup Spilleth (topcoat)
Spruced Up
Spruced Up (matte)
How perfect is that name? I love it, fits this polish perfectly. Again another sexy and winter appropriate matte shade! All of these mattes have a perfect formula, this was two amazing, buttery coats.
Spruced Up (matte)
This one is a little different in that it has teeny tiny green micro hex in it, it's barely larger than the shimmer but it's there!
Spruced Up (topcoat)
This one is beautiful with topcoat. I love that the shimmer comes alive.
Spruced Up (topcoat)
Sloshed On Cider
Sloshed On Cider (matte)
Oh man, I know oranges can be polarizing but I love this with my skintone, I think it looks really good! Again, formula was perfection, only barely needed two coats to reach opacity.
Sloshed On Cider (matte)
Sloshed On Cider (topcoat)
Topcoat makes this shade look so gorgeous! It's such a pretty burnt orange color and the topcoat makes it look like it's glowing.

The lone crelly of the bunch, I Got The Topper, You Do The Rest
I Got The Topper, You Do The Rest
Okay. Let's talk about Danyl's white crellies. They're always so creamy and amazing and I may have 40 but I cannot get enough of them, and this one is no exception! It's so wintery and cozy looking, with its brown flakies, silver hex and scattered holo. Swatch shows 3 coats plus topcoat.
I Got The Topper, You Do The Rest
Lastly, and oddly enough the only clear based Duh polish I have, is Joy Oh Joy
Joy Oh Joy
This polish feels so unusual coming from Duh Nail Polish! Danyl always does perfect crellies and jellies, obviously she can do perfect glitters too! It's a clear based micro glitter polish with full opacity in three coats. It's very beautiful and perfect for the holidays, I know I'll be wearing this one a TON.
Joy Oh Joy
There's teeny tiny gold micro glitters along with some bigger slightly darker hex in there. When I was looking at it closer there appears to be a tiny amount of what I think is red micro glitter but it could very well be holo dust haha!

I love this collection, it feels perfectly wintery and you can tell how much time went into perfecting those matte shades. Can you tell I'm blown away by them? I feel like I keep rambling on about how perfect they are haha!
