Finger Lickin' Lacquer

Today I have a new-to-me indie brand called Finger Lickin' Lacquer. Most of their polishes are scented but none of the ones I received have an overwhelming scent. These polishes all release on March 20th. Links to all relevant sites will be posted at the end!

She Works Hard For The Honey
How cute is this glitter topper! It really does remind me of bees. No fishing was needed for the circles and glitter spread out nicely over the nail. I only did 1 coat over China Glaze At Vase Value. I didn't smell any scent with this one either.

Quite Contrary
This polish is a total chameleon, it looks mint in some light and a cream color in others! I love it so much! It's got tiny little flakies that to my eye look pink and some scattered holo. I used 3 coats plus topcoat. This one didn't have any discernible scent to me.

Peachy Keen
Be still my beating heart, this one is drop dead gorgeous. It's a beautiful peach colored crelly with golden flakies and holo. This one smelled like peaches to my crazy pregnancy nose! I used 3 coats plus topcoat.

Eat Me
This one seriously just reminds me of Easter. I don't know why, maybe it's the chocolate colored base with pastel glitters, but the chocolate scent also helps! I really enjoy the glitter in this, the light pink and blue and I also think there may be some yellow glitters. This took 3 coats plus topcoat.

Birthday Suit
I love this! Nude jelly with pastel glitter? Sign me up! This took 3 coats plus topcoat and to me smelled like those scented markers kids had in elementary school but in a pleasing way if that makes sense?

Lilac Festival
Okay, okay, this is my favorite of the ones I was sent! It's such a beautiful purple with shimmer and holo, it's just perfect! It took 3 coats for opacity. I didn't realize that these polishes had scents when I swatched this one so I can't comment on the scent of it. If it did have a scent it had to have been delicate as I didn't notice it.

The formula of all the polishes was the same, slightly sheer but very easy to work with, not watery and not thick.

I was also sent a cuticle oil in the scent 'Grass' and I LOVE it. To me it smells like bananas but every other person I asked said it smells like grass haha. It absorbs so quickly, like I can't even explain how quickly, and leaves my cuticles super moisturized. Like I said, I love it!

Ellisons Organics

Hello long neglected blog! I'm sorry I've been so inconsistent and I hate to say that for the foreseeable future I will continue to be inconsistent. For that I apologize, but lets get into the polish! Today I have a few Ellison's Organics polishes to show off and I couldn't be more excited. I'll post all the links down below so you can make sure to pick up your favorites!
Unnamed glitter topper
This pretty glitter topper is really unique, I didn't think I would like it when I saw it in the bottle but when I found the right base color I loved it! I did one coat over Zoya Tove.

Unnamed matte pink
Unnamed matte pink
This matte is everything! It dries to the most perfect matte pink color, and with topcoat it really brings out the gold shimmer. This took three coats to reach opacity.

Let's All Go To The Lobby
What a beautiful yellow creme! I love this shade, unfortunately it does not love me back haha! The formula on this was a little thin so it took 4 coats to reach opacity. There's also a pretty shimmer running through it.

Unnamed green shimmer
Secretly, I love polishes like this so much. I thought it would be really streaky but it hardly was. It took 4 coats to reach opacity, I tried layering this over another shade and it was too opaque to be layered.

Let's Go To The Hop
OMG. I can't even with this color, I love it so much! It's seriously the most amazing tiffany blue! Formula was a little thin but it only took 3 coats to be opaque.

Matte Black
And now for the standout of all the polishes I was sent. This amazing matte black. What you're seeing is seriously 1 coat without topcoat. It is the most amazing formula of any polish I have ever tried, it practically applied itself. I need seven more backups!

I was also sent a cuticle oil in the scent Orange to try out. I love this cuticle oil! I have a few in my purse and the Ellisons Organics is the one I reach for every time. It absorbs SO quickly, and the smell is perfect. It's orange but not in your face orange. I can smell it when my fingers are near my face but it's not assaulting my nose with orange. I have to say, I really love the idea behind all of the products offered from Ellison's Organics, it jives with my whole life philosophy and parenting ideals.

Duh Nail Polish XOXO

What is going on, I have a few reviews coming up in the next few weeks so it should be pretty exciting around here! Today I have two beautiful polishes from Danyl of Duh Nail Polish. As usual these polishes both have amazing formulas, both reaching opacity in two coats. I would say my favorite is up first but I love them both. So first up is Key To My Heart
Key To My Heart
Key To My Heart
Look at it! Just look at it! It's a light pink creamy base with platinum flakies, gold shimmer, and tiny pink flakies too. I can't even, I love this combination so freakin' much!

Love...Psshhh
Love...Psshhh
 Love...Psshhh
This is too amazing, too beautiful for words. It's a dark black base with scattered holo and multicolored flakies. The flakes are so much more apparent in person, my picture does such a pitiful job of capturing them that it breaks my heart. It is simply stunning. I didn't ever want to take it off!

So can you pick a favorite? I can't! These released a few days ago and you need them both. End of story haha.

Dashing Housewife Love Day Trio

Wow I feel like such a slacker! I know I was never the most consistent blogger but life has been pretty crazy these last few weeks. I'm finally out of my first trimester so I'm starting to feel way better which is a bonus, but lately there's been so many appointments everyday that I don't even remember the last time I was able to just spend a day at home. Anyways, on to the polish! Today I have a gorgeous Love Day trio from Dashing Housewife Polish. Shop links will be posted down below!

How amazing is this red? The shimmer is a little more subtle in this one, it makes it look like it's glowing from within. Swatch shows 2 coats plus topcoat.

Truly

This purple is to die for! It's perfect and the shimmer is so apparent, even in photos! Swatch shows 3 coats plus topcoat but it was good at 2.

Hello perfect Barbie pink. How awesome does this look with the gold glitter? I may be rocking this on Valentines day because it's totally my jam. Swatch shows 3 coats plus topcoat but again it was good at two.

Which is your favorite?! Mine is clearly the pink because it's like the perfect Bre color, but I love them all! Especially how sexy that red is. These are all available for purchase right now so I suggest you buy yours soon to get them in time for Valentines Day.

Duh Nail Polish No Resolutions

Today I have one of the most awesome trios from Duh Nail Polish to show you! All three polishes are so amazing! There's a matte, a full coverage glitter, and a crelly.

Got My High Heels On
Got My High Heels On (matte)
Got My High Heels On (with topcoat)
How stunning is this red?! It was seriously the most perfect red polish I have ever had on my fingers, it had perfect opacity in two coats but I'm positive it could be a one coater if you do coats thicker than mine. It dries to an amazing matte finish, but with topcoat it brings out a subtle shimmer.

This Is My Party Dress

This green! I can't even! It's such a dark, forest green and I'm pretty sure it's completely unique to my collection. It was opaque in two coats but again, it could have been a one coater. There was loads of purple and green flakies in it, it adds depth but it's also subtle which I love.

Lastly is, Ring It In

Well hello gorgeous! This glitter is so stunning, it's got micro hex and iridescent hex and unicorn tears. Oh man. I love it! I wore it for three days straight and didn't want to take it off. It was opaque in three amazing coats plus topcoat.

What do you think of this collection? I love them all! They're available for purchase now so check out the links to Danyl's shop and other social media below.

Laquered Up

Oh man it feels like it's been so long since I've posted last! I know it hasn't actually been that long but it feels like it haha. I mentioned a few posts back I believe that I had some exciting news an the day has finally come to share! My hubby and I are expecting baby juice box v2.0 in July of next year! I'm so excited to be pregnant again but it's definitely taking it's toll, I've been so tired and queasy lately which explains my lack of posting. I just haven't had time for nails and everything else that needs to get done in the day. I'm only about 8 weeks along so I can't wait for the first trimester to be over so I can be back to semi-normal. Anyways, on to the nails! I have five GORGEOUS jelly polishes from Jessica at Laquered Up.

Sugar Plum Fairy
Sugar Plum Fairy

Hello, beautiful! Oh man, this polish. It's a perfect balance between purple and fuchsia plus it has awesome silver flakies! It's a relatively simple combination but it's so stunning on! This took 3 thin coats plus topcoat for opacity.

Berry Flirty

I have a deep seated craving for hot pink polishes and this definitely satisfies that craving. It's squishy and glittery and sparkly. This one has so many different holo glitters, there's silver hex, pink hex, and giant pink holo dots. Love! This one took three coats for opacity. This one did stain my cuticles pink but I have a gel overlay on my nails so I'm unsure if it'll also stain your nails or not. As long as you use a good base coat you shouldn't have any issues, and personally, that color is so worth it.

Again this is another perfectly executed jelly which means I love it! I have a weakness for all things jelly and squishy. There's those awesome silver flakies showing up again, as well as dots in small and large sizes. There was a little bit of fishing for the bigger glitters but that's usually par for the course with bigger glitters. Hardcore lacquer heads know that turning the bottle upside down for a bit before application fixes any fishing issues.

Envious

Holy gorgeous green jelly Batman! I'm drooling just looking at these pictures. This green is perfect for Christmas, maybe I'll do a festive mani with it. Anyway, this one was a tad more opaque than the others and you could probably get away with two coats, I did three plus topcoat because I do really thin coats. There's such an interesting mix in this one, there's flakies and gold holo hex and also dark green hex which was a perfect touch to add depth!

Caramel Kisses
Caramel Kisses
I totally spaced and didn't get a nail macro of this one. I was distracted by the sparklies! But fo real how much like caramel does this look? I just wanna drizzle this on everything, why isn't it edible?!? I used three thin coats plus topcoat for this picture. I love the gold glitters in this, especially those teeny weenie holo hex.

Overall, this was such an awesome selection of polishes. Jessica is a master at the glitter jelly (my ultimate weakness!) so obviously I loved all five of these. I feel so incredibly blessed to have been given the chance to try out some more of her polishes! This makes 7 of hers that I have tried and they have all had such a consistent formula, I'm definitely impressed! If you're interested in purchasing any of these I believe that they're all available in her Etsy store which I will link to below. Thanks for reading!

Dashing Housewife Christmas Cheer collection

Finally! It's close enough to Christmas to play Christmas music without people looking at you like you've lost it! Plus this means so many gorgeous Christmas collections to play with. Today I have Dashing Housewife Polish Christmas Cheer collection to show off and I gotta say, it's so unique and refreshing for a holiday collection. This is already available for purchase so I'll post all the links below.

First up is quite possibly my favorite blue polish ever, Silent Night
Silent Night

Okay, for real. I'm dead with this polish! I mean, the teal/blue jelly base to the green-blue-gold flakies? It is everything I could have ever hoped to see in a blue polish. I've already worn this twice apart from swatching it, on both hands lmao. I use two coats here with topcoat.

Fit For A King

Initially I wasn't sure that I would like this one but I ended up loving it on, it's definitely a royal color. There's flakies and shimmer and gorgeousness in this one. Plus I only needed two coats for opacity also so there's that.

My macro is totally not color accurate, but the top two swatches are. My camera freaked out when I went to get close to this one haha! But anyways, it's a gorgeous teal crelly with seriously the most unique color combo I have ever seen and it is breathtaking! I loved this one in the bottle and on my nails. It feels perfectly holidayish without screaming HOLIDAYS to me and I just love it, plus theres a bonus silver shimmer running through it. Swatch shows 3 coats plus topcoat.

Frosted Cookie

I may or may not be tempted to try to frost some cookies with this, it just looks so yummy. This is definitely your quintessential holiday polish with a teensy twist. There's a multicolored shimmer in it and to me the glitters aren't your typical green and red shades but I love it! Swatch shows three coats plus topcoat.

Feeling Grinchy

This is another one my camera freaked when I tried to get a bottle macro haha, it's definitely not color accurate, but the others are. The name on this one had me laughing out loud, I literally thought that it reminded me of the grinch before I even saw the name. Plus it glows green in the dark! How perfect! I charged it in the sun for a minute or two to get the strongest glow possible and man is it bright! There wasn't even any fishing for the heart glitters either so I loved it. Swatch shows 3 coats plus topcoat.

Last up is White As Snow
White As Snow

White As Snow
This polish is so delicate and subtly pretty! It's a white crelly with multicolored flakies in it that look like they're glowing! I loved wearing this one, and it does remind me of snow. This one took three coats plus topcoat.

So what did you guys think of this collection? It's so unique for a holiday collection but they still feel like holiday polishes. I definitely think you could wear most of these year round which I love! All of these had the usual perfectly smooth formula I'm used to from Dashing Housewife Polish.
