MDJCreations part 2

Yay! Part 2! Aren't you so excited to see what I've got to show you from Melissa this time! I know I am.

Tropical Getaway
This polish is just another amazing one in the list of amazing polishes from Melissa. I just can't even with this one. It's so squishy! It's more pink than the coral it's showing in pictures. Swatch shows 4 coats with topcoat.
Check out all those iridescent glitters! Just amazing the way they look in this jelly.
This one glows like crazy! Again I was tripping on that haha.

Bloom Where You're Planted
This is such a gorgeous lime green holo! Swatch shows 3 thin coats with topcoat.
It looks so light here but it's definitely a lime green, the macro below is color accurate.

The Kings Bride
This glitter topper is so unique, unlike anything I've seen before! It's got holo silver glitters and also iridescent glitters in it. Swatch shows 1 coat over Revlon Urban.
Look at everything going on here! This is crazy! It just makes me mind hurt.
I'm actually fairly certain that iridescent glitter is fairy flakes. But don't quote me on that.

If You Like Glitter...
This one is such a pretty gold glitter topper! Swatch shows 1 coat over Wet N Wild Temptation.
Again, there's so much going on! I love it!

Black Opal
Again with the fairy flakes. I mean iridescent glitter. Swatch shows 1 coat over China Glaze What A Pansy.
I'm at a loss for words with these glitters. They are so delicate and perfect.

The Kings Daughter
I love glitter and sparkles and pink polish galore and puppies and kittens and things soft to touch. These are a few of my favorite things. Oh and pink glitter. Swatch shows 1 coat over OPI I Theodora You.
I don't know why but I wasn't expecting the macro to be this mind blowing. I should have known.

The Quick and Dirty: Again, I had no application issues and no fishing for any glitter. All polishes applied buttery smooth and perfect.

So yeah. I'm in love. With all of these polishes and every polish that's still in Melissas' brain. Seriously though. Make sure you follow her on Instagram (@mdjcreations) to stay up to date on all her latest beauties!

MDJCreations part 1

So I have a confession to make. I LOVE glitters that look like there's everything but the kitchen sink in there. You know the ones I'm talking about, with too many glitters to name. Well today I have 6 polishes today and 6 tomorrow from MDJCreations and let me tell you, Melissa is awesome at making-everything-but-the-kitchen-sink polishes.

Orchid Of Enchantment
This is a purple scattered holo with so many glitters in here. This was the first one I tried and I LOVE it. Swatch shows 3 coats with topcoat.
Seriously, just look at all that glitter, I can't even begin to describe them all! But they're mostly holo so this polish is a stunner.
So purples are notoriously hard to photograph color accurately but this macro is the closest to the true color of these three pictures. This one faintly glows in the dark but my camera was being stubborn, you can definitely see it in person though.

Rose Of Sharon
This is another scattered holo with tons of glitter and it's no surprise I love this one just as much as the first. Swatch shows 2 thin coats with topcoat.
There's iridescent glitter in here that make this polish come alive. I love iridescent glitters so...there's that.
This one also glows in the dark faintly but my camera wouldn't capture it.
Super Fruit
I was definitely unsure about this one on the bottle but once I got it on it was an instant favorite. I'm going to covet my bottle for fear of ever running out. Swatch shows 3 thin coats with topcoat.
I just can't even handle this. I can't. Such a squishy green jelly with glitter! This was actually much more like green in person than it's showing here, it's very vibrant.
Oh yeah, it also glows in the dark. How cool is that! I kept waving my fingers around tripping on the fact that my finger nails were glowing haha.

Creative Genius Take Flight
This one had a slight duochrome affect to me, between blue and green. Very pretty with tons of glitter. Swatch shows 1 coat over black with topcoat.
There is micro bar glitter in a lot of these polishes but I really don't mind micro bar glitter at all!
I tried doing this one on it's own and it was still pretty sheer at 4 coats so I decided to layer it. The options are endless with this, I'd love to see it over blue or green.

Oceans Deep
This is such a squishy blue jelly! It's so dainty with the smaller micro glitters but still so sparkly. Swatch shows 3 coats with topcoat.
This one had a scattered holo and teal shimmer that was prominent on the nail but not in the bottle which was a switch for once haha! Words cannot express my love for this polish!

Reign For Eternity
I will always love black scattered holo polishes. They look like instant galaxies! This was 3 coats of this black jelly with topcoat.
This polish is crazy up in here, the scattered holo plus the insane amount of holo glitter is just...perfection.

The Quick and Dirty: There was no application issues or fishing for glitter at all. Every polish applies like a dream!

Do you see what I'm saying about Melissa being amazing? Her glitter mixes are SO unique! Every polish of hers is unlike any I have in my stash and I love them all! Do you love everything-but-the-kitchen-sink (EBTKS) polishes as much as I do?

Some things never change

Like my love for Legion Lacquer. Yeah that'll never change.
Today I have some polishes from their Paint The Rainbow collection, and one from their Spring Collection, both collections will be released on April 1st.

Silver Linings (Spring)
This one is so pretty! In the bottle I wasn't to sure if I would love it or not but I really do love this! Swatch shows 2 coats with topcoat.
Most of these glitters are holo so that with the shimmery base makes for a really sparkly polish!

Cherry Tropicolada (Paint The Rainbow)
This polish...is an amazing shade of red. It's almost like a jelly, it looks so squishy. There's also tons of shimmer in this one that add dimension to.
You can kind of see it here, it was camera shy! But it was extremely visible in person.

Kiwi Lime Pie (Paint The Rainbow)
This is such a pretty lime green! It's got golden flakies and what looks to me like green flakies also. Swatch shows 2 coats with topcoat.
See? I'm not crazy! Definitely green flakies in there.
And the gold flakies!

Electric Lemons (Paint The Rainbow)
This color makes me look so tan! I'm not complaining! This yellow had some pretty awesome shimmer to it that again, was camera shy. Swatch shows 4 thin coats with topcoat.
Mm this color is just perfect!
You can see the shimmer here a little but better!

The Quick and Dirty: All 4 of these polishes had an excellent formula, not too thick or too thin. Applying them was a breeze. My sneaky favorite would have to be Cherry Tropicolada which is weird because I don't normally like reds!

Which is your favorite? Please tell me you're as obsessed with everything Angela and Shay create as I am.

Just imagine how much cooler I'll be in summer!

Yes. You read that right. That was a Frozen reference. I love that movie so much, it was adorable. Speaking of adorable movies if you haven't seen The Lego Movie go see it now. I'll wait. It's so worth it. Anyways, on to the polish!

Today I have the first collection from a new indie brand called Heather's Hues.

Floralia
Very pretty shimmery pink with so much glitter! Seriously so much glitter! Swatch shows 3 coats with topcoat.
I love the glitter in this, it's perfect for spring.
Because of the shimmer this polish looks different in different lighting, which is awesome if you ask me.

Aurora's Awakening
Another very pretty shimmer with loads of glitter. Swatch shows 3 coats with topcoat.
I really enjoy this golden color! It reminds me of the sun rising in the morning.
That macro! Dead!

Springtime Muse
This blue is such a beautiful color also! All I can think of is the lake during the summer. Gorgeous! Swatch shows 3 coats with topcoat but it was good at 2!
If I remember correctly there was some iridescent glitter in there too!

Lastly, Luna's Lullaby
Holy. Moly. So about this polish. You need it, now. Swatch shows 3 coats with topcoat.
And matte because it's a jelly and that's what you do with jellies.
I can't stare at this for too long. It hurts my heart it's so pretty.
Wow that is an awesome picture to end on.

The quick and dirty: I love this collection. I love all of these polishes and normally I don't like shimmer polishes with glitter so that surprised me! Formula was a touch thick for my preference but it was definitely manageable as I didn't have to thin any out.
